Play Therapy and Children
Play therapy offers a unique and effective approach to express feelings and resolve challenges through creative play, tailored to a child’s developmental needs. Parents are active participants in this journey as well, having your own parent sessions to discuss your child's needs, progress, and tools to use to support your child.
-

Teens and Adults
Adults and teens benefit from evidence-based counseling techniques that address anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other common concerns. We prioritize building trusting relationships that feel safe and supportive for exploring your needs and goals.
-

Parents
Expectant, new, and seasoned parents have unique challenges that deserve to be heard and supported by people who understand these important stages of raising a family. Our therapist is skilled in supporting both the role as a parent AND the individual you are aside from that identity.

Perinatal Mental Health
Pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and loss can deeply affect mental health without proper support. People in the perinatal period may face depression, grief, trauma, and anxiety. Trauma-informed care from someone who understands perinatal experiences—and a therapist trained for this stage—is not a luxury but a necessary right for everyone.
About Us
Nurture & Bloom Wellness is a Mental Health Counseling practice where you can explore the parts of yourself you want extra love and care poured into. Focusing on the person as a whole, Nurture & Bloom provides therapy to support you where you currently are in your mental health journey, while encouraging work that will promote growth and healing.
We utilize multiple therapeutic modalities to support your needs and believe it is essential to adapt alongside you as new challenges arise in life.
One thing to expect in the office is that a portion of the room will be dedicated to Play Therapy work, as children have a unique and special way of communicating, given their developmental stage. For older teens and adults, it was also important for the office to maintain peace and tranquility so that therapy can feel like a warm, welcoming experience. When you walk into the space, we hope that it conveys that calming aura and/or childlike wonder, whatever you are seeking!
This practice was created after witnessing how transformative it is to have a safe space to just -be- in. Show up as you are; that is all you need to be.
