I provide individual therapy sessions to children, teens, and adults! Depending on interest, I can hold parenting groups using a model called ‘Child-Parent Relationship Training’ as well as the teacher version of that model for educators! If I am working with your child, I would also like to do ‘parent sessions’ where we have time for just us to explore your child’s needs and ways to approach issues you are seeing within your relationship with your child.

I started as a School Counselor, where I got hands-on experience working in one of the environments your children spend the most time in…school. There are so many social experiences that shape kids while at school, then add in the academics and navigating adult relationships with teachers and staff…it’s a lot! I think that because I was in that role, I can really step up to advocate for children in all settings they are in. Thus, advocating for YOU as a parent trying to keep on top of all of the things. I am also a parent myself, an Aunt to older kids, and a child of an educator. My entire life, I have seen the importance of others supporting kids, teens, and their parents. I want to be able to provide that safe space in a very hectic world to families.
I am also a therapist who has worked in community mental health, where I was in an outpatient and school-based setting, working with people at the lowest points of their lives. The honor I feel to be trusted with the inner world that may not typically be seen by others is immense. My training and career have prepared me to truly see others and show up authentically as myself, so others know it’s okay to show up authentically as themselves too.

I accept BCBS and Aetna insurance plans, as well as have self-pay and sliding scale options for those who do not have insurance. I can provide superbills for those out of network for the chance of reimbursement. I also encourage clients to check with their insurance company to see what co-pays will be, as well as if they will reimburse if out of network.
For liding scale clients, we can discuss what that will look like during a discovery call! I have a few slots available for that service to ensure everyone has the chance to receive the services they deserve access to!
Self-pay is charged at $150 per hour.

Collaborative, authentic, supportive, and safe. I like to use humor and put our relationship first, as that is the most important factor in feeling safe with someone. I will challenge you gently and with care when I can see you need that push. I will support you and help you process your experiences, I will provide tools to help you navigate life when things feel too overwhelming, and I will celebrate any win with you! I believe that you have all the answers within you, but sometimes it takes a few extra tools and someone on your team for that to become clear!
If I am working with your child utilizing play therapy, I will show up just the same, as I value allowing children the chance to lead and discover their own inner strength. I operate from a child-centered framework, meaning that I believe that children can be given the tools to express themselves in developmentally appropriate ways without always needing the structure expected with traditional talk therapy. As the parent, we will meet up separately to discuss themes and concerns, as well as highlight those wins for your child! I am a non-directive child therapist at my core, meaning that I do not immediately jump towards directing the session in any specific way, as sometimes kids need the chance to create their own direction.
